Happy 2 months, Riley!

Riley is a very sweet girl. I have a feeling she's going to be funny just like her sister. She does these belly laughs when she's falling asleep that is the cutest thing ever. She's pretty easy, generally. She doesn't really cry unless she's really tired or hungry and sometimes when she just wants to be held. But when she cries, it's bad. We have to catch her sleepy signs because if she gets too tired, she will cry for an hour. She absolutely loves her sister. If she starts whining, Madison will go love on her and most of the time, she will stop whining. Madison loves on her all the time and she just smiles at her. It's the sweetest thing. We seriously have the 2 sweetest, most beautiful girls! We love you so much, Riley Kate!

-weighs 11 lbs and 23". Was 8.3lbs and 20" at birth

-Wearing 0-3 and 3 months clothes, size 1 diapers and 0-6 month socks.

-Wakes up around 8am and stays awake until about 10am. Sleeps for roughly an hour and is awake until 1pm. This works out well because Madison goes down for a nap around 1:30 or 2 so I try to keep Riley awake until Madison goes down and they nap at the same time.  She then usually sleeps for 2 hours, wakes up to eat and then sleeps until 4 or 5pm(sometimes even 6pm). She then goes down around 7:30 and usually sleeps until 12am. After that, she wakes every 2-3 hours.

-cooing and smiling socially. Holding head up pretty good. I love this phase because you get some emotion!

-Hates tummy time. Sleeps swaddled and on her side. Loves having a blanket over her head to fall asleep(see pic above) I have no idea how we are going transition her to not being swaddled and the blanket thing. Her hands wake her up if she's not swaddled and she is starting to wiggle them out already. Fun phase :)

The shirt I gave Alan when I told him I was pregnant. It fits, 2 months later!
