Easter 2017

Madison's class egg hunt and party was last Wednesday. 25 kids found around 300 eggs in roughly 2 minutes ;) Afterward, they had snack on blankets in the grass.

That afternoon, the library had an egg hunt that I took the girls to..

Friday was Yoga day.. The Instructor held class in a little garden outside Riley's class so I got to witness her participating.. She did pretty well and this pictures is classic! I think I caught her blinking but it looks like she's saying "Ommmmm" :)

After Yoga, the kids had snack in their class and then an egg hunt.

Sunday morning, they girls woke up to their baskets.. books, matching pajamas, chocolate chicks and water beads.

 Then church..

..and home to dye eggs.. After that, it was a lazy day. The past couple of weeks and weekends have been super busy so we enjoyed the down time!

Easter 2016

Saturday, we went to the egg hunt at the local State Park

Madison found an egg with a number inside and won that big treat basket

We put food coloring in shaving cream and Riley rolled her eggs around

Madison didn't want to dye her eggs that way, so she just painted hers!

the girls planted jellybeans..

..that grew into suckers overnight

Easter baskets

Sunday, we went to church, which included a butterfly release. A friend let Riley hold her butterfly and her hubby was able to snap this picture.

After church, we had lunch with family. Since it was raining, we had an egg hunt inside.

Easter

Madison's school had an Easter party on Thursday. After their 'tea party' of chicken nuggets, fruit and cookies, they hunted eggs on the playground. She found lots of eggs and a few had Skittles in it, which she was thrilled about.

Saturday, we had planned on going to the local State Park to their Easter Egg Hunt but it was pouring rain. We decided to take her to Toys R Us instead. They had a parade around the store at 1 and they got to have pictures taken with Geoffrey, which she had no part of. She was terrified.

That night, we dyed Easter eggs.

Sunday, they checked out their surprises from the Easter bunny
Madison got a kite, new cups, snacks, jelly beans and new shoes.

Riley got some books and a teether.

..and then read a story with Dad.

Riley played with her new teether

Alan took Madison to church. They released butterflies before the service.

After church, we went to Alan's mom's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.
