Orlando- Day 3- Magic Kingdom- Sunday

Ferry ride to the park

We're here!

We got up, ate and got to the park right at 9. We had a FastPass for Winnie the Pooh at 9:55 and a FastPass for Under the Sea at 12:35. That was a fun ride! In between those we rode Dumbo, People Mover, the Merry go Round, watched the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor Show, saw the Fantasy Parade, rode Tomorrowland Speedway, It's a Small World and Mad Tea Party.

We were able to catch the Fantasy Parade..

The girls were getting ill so we decided to leave for a bit. The girls instantly fell asleep in the car while we stopped and picked up lunch. We brought it back to the hotel, ate and Riley and Alan went down for a nap while I got on my laptop and Madison played around.

We left by 5 to head back to Magic Kingdom.

We had a Fast Pass for Peter Pan at 6:15 and then rode the train. We had supper at Starlight Cafe while they were playing a light show on the castle.

After we got done, we caught the fireworks show then rode Dumbo, tea cups and Little Mermaid again.

After that,we found a spot for the Electric Parade. Madison was okay for a few minutes

... and then asked Alan to hold her and then this happened....

We stayed to watch the parade..

We got back to the hotel around 11:30 and all crashed!

 

Orlando- Day 2- Saturday

We woke up around 6:30am to get ready for our Character breakfast at Cape May at 8:00. We got there a tad early and were able to walk around the resort a few minutes and even got to peek in and see the characters walking around before being introduced to them.

Cape May breakfast is a hot buffet that is very good!

 The characters were Minnie, Donald and Goofy. They just cycled through the restaurant from one side to the other so we got to talk to each one twice. The girls seemed to enjoy the characters. Riley loved them and instantly kissed them when they walked up. Madison was very shy but happy to see them.

 I printed out some pictures with various characters to sign to put in an album and will put the pictures of the girls with the characters with the picture they signed. I went ahead and let these 3 characters sign their pictures so that's 3 less we have to worry about at Magic Kingdom.

After a yummy, fun breakfast, we walked around the resort a few minutes. They had a man made beach by the water..

We then left and went to Downtown Disney to walk around. We made a reservation for Bibbity Bobbity Boutique for 3:00 but Madison was very set that she did not want to do it so we cancelled. 

We had lunch at T-Rex Restaurant and Bar at Downtown Disney. This is an awesomely themed restaurant full of Dinosaurs, ocean life, aquariums and a huge ice castle in the center. Every 20 minutes the lights go out and the dinosaurs put on a show. The food is made to order and was very good.

We all rode the carousal, Alan and I bought flip flops from Sanuk(my favorite!) and Madison picked out a hairdress lego set from the Lego store. We all got treat from Goofy's Candy store and headed back to the hotel where Riley rested for about an hour and after she woke up, we went to the pool and played for a while. We came back to the room around 6 and Riley went to bed around 6:30.

We all went to bed shortly after that :)

Orlando- Day 1- Friday

We went to bed around 9pm Thursday night and woke up around 1:30am. We got the girls up and loaded in the truck around 2:30. The girls decided to stay awake until around 3:30am.. Madison thought it was time to get up and Riley was up because Madison was. I finally gave them snacks and they knocked out shortly after.  Riley slept for probably 2 hours and Madison slept for about an hour. After that, they watched DVDs and Madison likes playing with the different ringtones on the phone.  We got to Orlando around 10:30am.  We swung by the hotel to pre-check in, leave our bags and hoped they would have a room ready before 4pm. No such luck.

We drove around and found a great restaurant called Bahama Breeze. We ran a couple of errands, walked around Downtown Disney and just rode around site seeing.

 

We checked in around 4, unpacked and went back out after that to get something quick for supper to bring back. The girls were asleep instantly in the car! We came back and were all asleep by 9!

Monday Madness

-So behind on blogging. Trying to spend more time away from the phone and more time with the kids or doing productive things. I haven't even blogged Riley's 14 months or Madison's 3.5 year. Or the million other things I could write about.

-getting ready for Disney coming up! A million things to do, lost of list making, double checking, errand running.. I had almost 900 pictures I put on cds to clear up my camera and phone. Now to figure out what to do with the videos on my phone since our video recorder died. Do people still call it a camcorder? Any recs for Disney packing? Or any info at all?

-I decided to skip Season 4 of Pretty Little Liars. I saw they revealed who A is last week and I couldn't stand waiting.. 10 more episodes and I'm caught up! Also started a new Netflix series, Unbreakable with Kimmy Schmidt. Very funny. Not to be watched if you are easily offended :)
