Thanksgiving trip 2016

We left around lunch time on Friday, November 18th and returned home on Saturday, November 26th. We stayed in a cabin in Sevierville, TN which was about 8 miles from Tanger Outlets in Pigeon Forge. We had a busy and fun time! I will get the video edited and post it in a new blog soon, I hope :)

The Island

The girls made their first Build a Bear. Madison chose Poppy from Trolls and Riley chose Marshall from Paw Patrol.

Met Rudolph
and Bumble..
and watched the Parade of Many Colors in Dollywood
The ferris wheel!

Visited Cade's Cove on a Smoky day.
We saw deer, turkey and a mama bear with her 2 cubs

Visited Clingman's Dome and hiked up to the top.
You could see the Lake Lure wildfires from where we were standing. It was really surreal.
It was GORGEOUS views but a really hard walk up and it was so cold that Riley cried.

The girls loved riding the trolley.

A little adult time.

Thanksgiving trip to Tennessee!

Keeping with our tradition, we went to Gatlinburg, TN November 22-27 this year. We changed it up from Boone, NC to have more activity for the girls and I say we chose wisely! A hotel with a great pool including a waterslide, Dollywood, The Island,  Ober Gatlinburg. Plenty to do! We had a great time! Always thankful for these 3. My life would be incomplete with the chaos, sticky hands, type A personalities, sensitive cries, busyness, the winks and pats on my back from Alan when I need it most and little arguments between the girls.  I love my little family(and our immediate/extended families) so much :)

The Track

I'm countain on Riley to be my roller coaster buddy! :)

We went to Dollywood on Wednesday. It was really busy, cold and lots of fun!

Love Riley's side eye.

Because when ginormous slushies aren't enough, cotton candy.

The highlight of Alan's trip was meeting Bumble!
