5 on Friday
Five on Friday is just random thoughts. I'm linking up with the blogs above today. What 5 things are on your mind?
One
-Madison is still going great with her potty training. We have some hiccups here and there and she's not wanting to poop in the potty yet but that's to be expected. She has not had any accidents at school all week!
Two
-I'm looking forward to our mountain trip coming up, now more than ever. I want to disconnect for a while.
Three
-I'm so much more anxious to have Riley than I was to have Madison at this time in my pregnancy. Not that I wasn't excited to have Madison, I was, I was just so nervous to have Madison that I was scared how it was going to go. Now I know the procedure and what the pain felt like and all of that, I'm not so nervous about that. I am a bit nervous about if I go into labor at home, since I had to be induced with Madison. That makes me nervous :)
Four
-We have our maternity session with the fabulous Carrie this weekend. She has done Madison's past 2 birthday parties and some other photo sessions with Madison. It was roughly 98 degrees the morning of our maternity session with Madison. This year it will be quite chilly! We are doing it at a strawberry/pumpkin farm. I'm hoping the trees still have leaves! I'm anxious to see what she has up her sleeve! I promise to not bring impossible Pinterest ideas, Carrie! :)
Five
-I have that urge to nest. To clean the house from top to bottom. To get things organized and donated or tossed out. Then I sit down and get lazy. Argh!

Mountain Trip!
We found time to squeeze in a day mountain trip! Our first priority was to find a pumpkin for Madison and Riley. I found a farm that had a train and a llama also and I knew Madison would love the train.
Boy, was I right :)
All the pumpkins were sold so the guy suggested a place nearby to get some and we went there. We found 2 pumpkins and they had a maze and play area so we let Madison do those for a while. She had a lot of fun playing in the bins of corn. I didn't take my camera so no pictures...
After that, we went to downtown Brevard for their Fall Fest. The kids could trick or treat the stores from 3-4. Madison got a good bit of candy! I will get a better picture of her costume this week but she is Minnie Mouse :) I had to put leggings under her dress. It was freezing!

Fathers Day Recap
We got up at our normal time and went to breakfast at Waffle House. Alan said he'd like to go to Mt. Mitchell, so that's where we went! We went up to the tower and then hiked a short trail that made a loop. It was about 20 degrees cooler up there, but was actually kind of nice.
I think Madison enjoyed riding in the backpack but I'm afraid it will be her last year in it. She will have to hike next year!
After we left, we came back through Hendersonville and ate outside at an Irish Pub. We had a really good day doing all the things we love. We hope Alan had a great day because he deserves it! He's an amazing Daddy and Husband and we love him so much!

Rainforest Zoo in Pigeon Forge, TN
I saw this place in the guest book in the cabin as a recommendation, so we decided to take her. Boy did it smell! Whew! She seemed to like it a little better than the aquarium, but she didn't love it.
She liked watching this little monkey bounce around.
