Friday - May 31

Peak

 -got some good deals at the outlets Sunday on some clothes for Madison.

-Alan was off Friday and Monday.
-watched Malachi(our Godson) graduated 5K yesterday 

Pit

-had to buy a new lawnmower. Our old one finally died. The axle was bent and the pully needed to be replaced. This is a Peak for Alan but not for our wallet!

-still can't think of anything to blog about.

-North America on Discovery is pretty amazing. Have you seen it?
-another month closer to getting my tooth implant. I'm so ready to get this partial out!

-feeling blah this week.

-Alan out of town for 2 whole days but will be off Friday and Monday

Peak

-Madison had her first gymnastics recital this week. She(and I) even got a medal for participating!

-Finally started working on Madison's 2 year book. Hoping I can get caught up!
-Finally got a new printer after months of mine printing streaky and then finally dying.

Pit

-Our lawnmower belt broke again. Seriously?
-Rented a movie I've already seen. Ah well.

Friday - May 10

Peak

-Madison did good again at gymnastics. Maybe we've hit a breakthrough!

-She also peed the very first time I sat her on her potty. A fluke? Coincidence? Who cares!
-She then peed in it twice today.

Pit

-Cleaning up pee in the floor.
-Our automatic cat feeder has been messing up. Luckily they are replacing it!

Peak

-Saw this and loved it. So hard to remember as a mom.

-Madison was really good at gymnastics this week. After thinking about pulling her out, I think I will give her another month to see how she does.

Pit

-Madison had a fever Wednesday night and then was super grumpy Thursday. She is now getting her top left canine. Hoping she feels better soon and that the other 3 teeth aren't as hard for her.

-I had Pepper Jack cheese and triscuits for supper Thursday night. Alan was out of town and that's my excuse :)

Madison was happily dipping chips in salsa 2 seconds before this picture and I had just took her picture. Then she offered her chip to Wilma and Wilma ate it. I gave her a new chip and she went to dip it and the chip broke. Enter more bawling. Life is tough, baby girl.

Peak

-Had a mini date with Alan on Monday. We met at Barnes and Noble and had coffee. It felt so refreshing.
-Had more dental work done. One step closer to being done! I'm over it!

-I feel like M is ready to start potty training but I have no idea where to start. Is this a Peak or Pit?!
-I have lost 5 lbs and 1" in my belly since starting Killer Abs a couple of months ago!(3 days a week)

Pit

-Madison's naps have been all over the place. 2 naps one day, 1 the next. Goes down easy and naps, goes down easy then cries after 20 minutes of playing.

-Got my garden planted. 8 tomatoes, 4 bell pepper and 4 banana peppers

-Also planted some color in the front landscaping and all of our containers and baskets!

-Madison's appetite is back to normal and feeling better.
-Nothing to be majorly concerned about on her kidney ultrasound. Will know full results today or Monday.

- This weather has been so great. M loves being outside and so do I!
-Madison has been sleeping through the night all week, except Monday!
-Met with a Moms playgroup Wednesday and may end up joining the group.

Pit 
-2 of my plants have already died.

-only 5 days until my dental surgery. Blah!
-Madison had a nightmare Monday night and ended up in our bed. Grinding her teeth.
-The cats fought for 2 days after their annual vet appointment. Gosh, that's super annoying.

I was one of the 830,281 people at Lowes on Friday buying flowers.

And another trip to Lowes to get more flowers, vegetables, sand, dirt and paint. Alan's is in the background painting Madison's growth chart board, which we have yet to put up.

The cutest little yard worker there ever was. This girl loves working in the yard and playing in the dirt!

To say that Alan and I are so over this week would be an understatement. Happy Friday! Not many Peaks this week other than our usual blessings. It's been a doozy, ya'll.

Peaks
 -Madison hasn't run a fever since Wednesday and her appetite is slowly coming back

-I got the first step done toward my oral surgery.

Pits

-an unexpected Pedi appointment after Madison ran a 103 fever Sunday and Monday morning which showed her first(and hopefully last) UTI :( Also, they had to catheter her which was pretty tough to watch

-She's also still been waking up in the middle of the night and sleeping in our bed when she gets up. Some nights she sleeps perfectly and other nights she squirms and grinds her teeth all night. One night, she cried on and off all night.

-Tonight should be fun. We are going to have to retrain her to sleep through the night. She's got to stop keeping us(and herself) up at night.

-This weather has been insane. Warm enough for short sleeves one day and a sweater the next. I'm ready for actual Spring!

-I somehow lost a pair of jeans since our beach trip. Luckily, I left one pair at the beach and she is shipping them back. I have no idea where the other pair went.
