Weekend recap

On Friday, we headed downtown to play putt-putt, eat ice cream and let the girls run around under the pretty colored tiles that they just recently hung up. It was a nice day!

An ice cream flight is the best idea ever.

Alan went to a football game on Saturday and his mom was watching our twin nieces, so we hung out with them a few hours that day. We went to the local co-op, where Riley and the twins got their faces painted like tigers(go figure!) :) Then we went to Chick Fil A where we ate, had ice cream and the girls played a bit.

On Sunday, after church, we went to the local State Park, 'hiked' a trail and let the girls throw many sticks and rocks into the creek.

Madison's Field Day

Madison's preschool had Field Day this past week. She had lots of fun!

Family fun day

Our downtown, along with United Way and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, had an event for kids. There were characters, face painting, balloon animals and some other things, so we decided to take Madison.

This child isn't scared of anything!

A generous donor has also paid for a ferris wheel to be downtown for a couple of weeks. Sunday was the last day and we hadn't had a chance to ride. Since it was so gorgeous out and we were already downtown, we decided to ride!

 

Even though she looks scared, she kept saying "Fun, like it" :)

Sand box fun!

We got Madison a crab sandbox over the weekend and she really seems to like it a lot! We've played in it everyday since we got it. She likes climbing in and out of it and pouring sand out of it onto the grass.

She is obsessed with putting her shoes on and taking them off.
