Happy 23 months, Madison!

This post has 4 videos that you need to see! If you get email updates, make sure to click this link to see them:

I can't believe she will be 2 next month! Ack!! This was a fun month. Her vocabulary is crazy good. She says 4 and 5 word sentences sometimes. It's insane. She's such a sponge! You tell her something once and she remembers it for life. She's great at associating items with who bought them or gave them to her. "Grandma's turtle"(she put a lot of coins in it last time she was here) "Nimmie's hat"(she bought it for her) or the funniest thing the other day was the sheriff of a nearby town was on tv and she said "Pepaw" (Alan's dad). He does actually favor him a bit at quick glance. Any white tshirt that Alan wears is "Daddy's lawnmower shirt" It's also really nice because she can now tell you "no like it" or "down" or "hold you"(me), "eat/hungry" or "good".. It makes the guessing game so much easier! She now knows what she wants and will happily tell you "o-KAY" if she wants it or "no like it" if she doesn't want it.

She's also learned to say her name this month and even said "Madison Grace" one day. She will sometimes say "Madison eat it" or "Madison wear it".. it's cute.

We have been working on numbers and she will say "2" after we say "1" and will say "3,4,5,6" randomly! We're getting there I think!

She got a small cold this month. I can't remember the last time she's had a cold. The same day she woke up with a cold, she got stung by a bee :( I was worried because we have severe bee allergies in my family but luckily she had no reaction and only cried for about 5 seconds afterward! She had some allergy meds in her system from the cold so I'm hoping that helped with the pain afterward. She's a tough cookie, that girl!

She is growing out of some of her 2T shirts and I'm now buying 3T when I buy her shirts. In.sane. She is so tall! She towers over kids older than her. In size 4 and some 5 shoes, size 4 diapers(5 at night). Her schedule is still the same. She gets up between 8-9am(sleeps all night since 4 months old), naps around 1 or 2 for 1-2 hours then goes to bed between 7:30-8. People can't believe she sleeps from 8-8 at least, but she does. Sometimes she will wake up with a nightmare and we bring her to our bed but it's very rare. She goes down without a fuss and will play in her bed for 30 minutes-1 hour at naps and bedtime, depending on how tired she is, and then will put herself to sleep. She really is a fantastic sleeper and we know that we are pretty blessed with this. I know lots of toddlers that wake up at 6 or 7am. I'm sure when she starts school next month, she will start waking early because we will have to wake early(7:30) to get to school on time for the days she goes. I'm hoping she will sleep till 9 on the 2 days she isn't going :) One can hope!

Loves- Barney, any new toy, books, fruit, ice cream, Air heads, slushies

Dislikes-meat sometimes but is starting to eat more.

As long as she has her Mickey pillow, a blanket and a book, she's ready for nap time!

This girl should be a model.

She kept saying "Train like it, round and round". So funny!

Saying "Cheese"

"What's your name?"

Playing drums with chopsticks

Merry go round

Dancing at the library with Nimmie
